Biographical details
Marta Moskal is Marie Curie Post-doc Research Fellow at CES. She works closely with Professor Jenny Ozga as her mentor. She joined CES in 2008, first as visiting research fellow working on project ‘Families and children of Polish migrant workers in Scotland: integration versus schooling system’ (Royal Society of Edinburgh grant), and then as Marie Curie research fellow working on Education and Migrants Integration project (since April 2008). Before coming to CES Dr Moskal was lecturer at Institute for European Studies, Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Poland).
Research
Marta Moskal’s main research interests include regional comparative policy and immigrant and ethnic minority policy in European context. Main research studies and consulting projects are on topics linked with identity, family and children migration, intercultural education, ethnic minorities and immigrant’s bilingualism, language policy, educational policy, social inclusion/exclusion and quality of life.
